1) I recently edited and wrote two chapters for an Asian Development Bank book on "Converting Migration Drains into Gains : Harnessing the Resources of Overseas Professionals." the draft is available here

2) I’ve just completed a book manuscript on "Digital Diasporas : Identity and Transnational Engagement" (under review), and have several related articles based on my case studies.

3) In June I organized and delivered a conference on "The Role of Diasporas in Developing the Homeland" and am working on an edited volume out of the conference. The agenda and presentations can be found here

4) I have co-organized a panel on "Diasporas, Technology, and Development : Migration Gains or Drains" at the upcoming American Association for the Advancement of Sciences Annual Meeting in San Francisco in February 2007.

We are launching several new programs at George Washington University related to diasporas and development.
