Rikke Frank Jørgensen is a Senior adviser at The Danish Institute for Human Rights; adviser to the Danish Delegation to the World Summit on the Information Society and co-coordinator of civil society’s human rights Caucus. Rikke has previously worked as an adviser in the Danish Ministry of Research and Information Technology from 1995 to 2000, dealing with the social impacts of information technology. In 2000, she co-founded the Danish NGO Digital Rights, and acted as chairperson from 2000 to 2003. She was also involved in the founding of European Digital Rights (EDRI) in 2002, and is currently on the board of EDRI. Rikke holds a Master in Information Science and a European Master in Human Rights and Democratization, specializing in Internet and freedom of expression.
