Christine Schweidler is a Ph.D. candidate in the History and Sociology of Science at the University of Pennsylvania. She recently also received an MPH in epidemiology at the University of California, Berkeley. Her doctoral research focuses on the history of disease, healing practices and public health in Vietnam. Other areas of research include the relationship between trade, intellectual property and health. She is currently working in Hanoi, Vietnam.
