Marcelo Solervicens is Secretary-General of AMARC, World Association for Community Radio Networks, since 2003. He has a Ph.D. in political sciences from UQAM and is based in Montreal, Canada. He has wide-ranging experience in the fields of communication and new technologies. Journalist at Radio Canada International and General Director of Radio Centre-Ville, Montreal’s community and multilingual radio station, he has also worked with NGOs on international cooperation (CUSO, Oxfam, CEDAL) and has published books and articles on Latin America.
